Author Biography

Telem Matouleibi Chanu serves as an academician and researcher based in Umiam, Meghalaya, India. She has held positions such as Assistant Professor at the College of Horticulture & Forestry, Arunachal Pradesh, and Deputy Director of Extension Education. With a Ph.D. from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, West Bengal, she has authored over 25 research papers, 4 books, and 24 training manuals. Her work focuses on livelihood security, agricultural occupation, and tribal development. Lamneithem Hangshing specializes in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering and is based in Santiniketan, West Bengal, India. Her research includes drought risk assessment, hydrology, and sustainable farming practices. She has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and focuses on practical solutions for climate change and water-related challenges. Umalaxmi Thingujam is Assistant Professor in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry at Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, West Bengal, India. With a Ph.D. from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, she has guided M.Sc. and Ph.D. students and contributed to research publications and book chapters. Sheetanshu Gupta is Assistant Professor in Plant Biochemistry at the College of Food Technology, Imphal, Manipur, India. With a Ph.D. from G.B. Pant University, Uttarakhand, he has expertise in hydroponics, aeroponics, and protein biochemistry. He has authored over 30 books, 250 chapters, and 20 research papers.
