Very scarce. Vol. 1 only. Very little sign of use. Very slight spine fade. Tiny bump to top outer corner. Otherwise very crisp, clean and bright. ‘Mycenas of the Northern Hemisphere’ is a work in two volumes containing the collected papers of two separate series published between 1977 and 1991, and dealing with the genus Mycena of the northern half of the world. In Vol. 1, ‘Studies in Mycenas’, the results have been laid down of the examination of type material as weIl as of the attempts at interpreting aId and forgotten names. GraduaIly, also other papers were included, some written jointly with other authors. A deliberate omission in this series is that the new species described by J.
Velenovsky after 1920 have not been considered after two requests for a loan of material had come to nothing.
