8th edition. Book Condition: Poor.
Full brown leather, gilt ruled with 5 spine bands; very worn and bumped, front board detached. Soiling to outside edges of textlbock but only light bumping to corners. Internally mostly fairly clean with little age toning or foxing. Fold-out facing preface is creased and lightly stained. The stamp of Jabez Mann, C.E; F.S.L. – Sevenoaks to the top of the title page. Contemporary inscription of an unknown poem to the rear endpaper (“So to conclude and now I’ll make an end…” inscribed 1770, Nottinghamshire).
