Author Biography

Paramjit Singh has over 23 years of experience in quality seed potato production, farmer training, and technology dissemination. He has worked extensively with international experts, contributed to aeroponics facility development at the Potato Centre of Excellence, and conducted doctoral research on aeroponic mini-tuber production. He has played a pivotal role in advancing potato cultivation, certification systems, and farmer outreach across Punjab, India. Kapil Kumar Sharma has over 31 years of experience in potato breeder seed production, pest management, and innovative farm technologies. With significant contributions to IPM strategies, virus diagnostics, and low-cost cultivation interventions, he is also a Certified Crop Advisor and recipient of the ICAR-CPRI Best Worker Award (2014). He is actively engaged in research, training, and farmer outreach. Shailesh Kumar Singh has over 17 years of teaching experience across reputed institutions and more than 10 years of research experience. Based in Mathura, India, his work focuses on technological interventions to enhance abiotic stress resilience in fruit and vegetable crops, as well as hi-tech horticulture, including vertical farming, hydroponics, aeroponics, and the integration of AI and ML tools in horticultural practices. He has successfully guided 40 M.Sc. and 10 Ph.D. scholars and has contributed to 150 research papers, patents, books, and book chapters.
