Author Biography

Laura Tobin is one of the UK's best-known and most trusted meteorologists, and the weather presenter on ITV's Good Morning Britain. She studied Physics and Meteorology at the University of Reading before joining the BBC Weather Centre in 2007, going on to present across BBC One, the Six O'Clock News, Countryfile, BBC World, radio and online. In 2021, she was made a Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society in recognition of her contribution to meteorology and public understanding of the weather, and she has received multiple Television and Radio Industries Club Award nominations for Weather Presenter.
